Description
1999 Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 32.2 LIFT KEEL
The Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 32.2, designed by Jacques Faroux and built in France by Jeanneau, was a hugely popular model for the prolific French Builder, offering a beautiful balance of performance, comfort and safety. The 2 cabin layout offered a great platform for coastal cruising or offshore sailing, with a quality teak interior that benefited from a high degree of natural light.
"Sea Thistle" is specified with the highly desirable lifting keel option. Her 1.7m draft retracts to just 0.75m, creating opportunities to explore estuaries and creeks, and vastly increases the timescales available to enter and exit many a marina and harbour! The yacht will dry out on her keel, providing the ability to carry out inspections and maintenance without the need for haul out.
Well maintained and regularly sailed from her home berth in Poole Harbour, including the Solent and Jurassic Coast, this vessel has proven suitable for cruising with family/friends and exploring shallower waters.
