Thank you for the interest in our Deep Impact boats. Being one of the truly custom boat builders in the industry we offer a variety of layouts and configurations to suit your individual needs.
We build two length boats right now and are beginning the next model a 39 footer. Both the 33 and the 36 foot models can be built as an open or cuddy model. The open 33 and 36 can be done with a fishing layout, a cruising layout we call L-shape seating, or a combination of both. The cabin models have many options as well and the rear seat can be configured multiple ways.
The 33 models are available with twin or triple Mercury Verado or Yamaha four stroke engines and the 36 models can be built with twin, triple, or quad engines. The twin engine boats will get to 60-62 mph, the triple engines 70-72, and the quads 79-85 depending on choices. These speeds are made possible by a very slippery and efficient bottom with twin steps designed by John Cosker. Even though the boats are heavy, between 11,000 and 16,000 pounds they have amazing range and fast cruise speeds. The boats have a full Kevlar wrap and are fully glassed together to make them the strongest boats out there.
Colors and material choices seem endless and we fit the boat to your individual tastes. Both models have options of fresh water cooling misters in the hardtops and gunnels, bolster style helm seating for the most secure riding positions and powdercoated metal to finish the look. Cabin models have options for air conditioning, generator, microwave, fridge, stove, sink, hot water shower, TV and even dash AC vents. Both models have marine heads.
Our boats have a truly one of a kind look and back that up with an incredible soft, dry ride. They do not come cheap because of the time it takes to hand build them and the high end materials we choose, but we are considered the "Rolls Royce" of center consoles because of that process.
How do you plan to use your boat, fishing, cruising, or a combination of both? Do you lean more towards the cabin or open layout? The boats range in price from $220,000 to over $400,000 depending on the size, amount and size of engines, and features. The triple boats tend to add about $28,000 more than the twin and the cabin will add about $25,000 depending on options. The jump from 33 to 36 is also in the $25,000 to $30,000 range. Because they are full custom it is always easier to narrow the choices down and then come up with the pricing.

Revolutionary Technology:
The aerodynamically stable platform is based on NASA's Lifting-Body Airfoil design. Proprietary hydrodynamic lifting surfaces provide pilot passive response to a naturally variable sea state. Propulsion systems are adapted from proven off-the-shelf offshore race boat systems.
Operational design objectives included the elimination of active aeronautical control surfaces to simplify pilot duty. Basically, the craft's built-in stability systems - including automated computer controlled gyroscopic feedback- means the craft may be operated by anyone familiar with high performance offshore powerboat operation.
Several computers operate quietly in the background sampling the vessel's attitude 400 times per second, automatically balancing the craft until manual override steering inputs are registered. The computer instantly takes back control to balance the craft against quartering waves, 'misload' conditions, or prevailing winds off the beam. Ultimately, however, safety does not rely not on e-control systems, but instead is based on the passive stability incorporated into the craft's design. Fly-by-wire control systems are simply to ease pilot load and are not relied upon as a safety device.
Military and Homeland Security Applications:
SEAL Insertion / Harbor Patrol: the number one long-term concern of the US Navy SEAL operative during small boat insertion operations is the accumulative effect of the constant pounding on his body. The average SEAL will complete his career one inch shorter than his enlistment height, due solely to the endless wave impact loads on his spine. Many admirable approaches have been made to mitigate shock loads to small boat combatants at the seat base, but the more logical approach would be to intercept the problem at its source: the sea-surface interaction zone. The SeaPhantom does this.
The SeaPhantom rises to cruise above average wave crests; furthermore it is a boat with a suspension system - a very serious suspension system: comprising non-corrosive fiberglass leaf springs and billet-aluminum airbags - tested to 60,000 pounds - for dampening the effects of errant wave impacts.
Servicemen assigned to patrol will be in far better shape to perform their duties when not beaten into the ground during hours of small boat operations...

Very high speed at sea is now practical, comfortable and fuel-efficient.
Aided by a lifting-body airfoil, Maritime Flight Dynamics' SeaPhantom lifts out of the water to fly just above the wave crests, supported by shock dampening foils which act as a fully-functioning suspension system.
While her propeller remains in the water, the body of the SeaPhantom is carried above the sea surface in ground effect. This reduces hydrodynamic drag radically, thus requiring less power and using a fraction of the fuel consumption of conventional fast boats.
